Three Convenient Scanning Modes

The PREMAX BR-72 provides different operating modes to accommodate different business environments.

1. Manual Trigger Mode

The user presses the trigger to activate scanning. This mode is useful when scanning individual products, stock items, documents and packaged goods.

2. Automatic Scanning Mode

The scanner can automatically detect and read a barcode when an item is presented within its scanning range. This is particularly useful when the scanner is positioned on its stand.

3. Continuous Scanning Mode

This mode allows repeated barcode scanning without requiring the user to press the trigger for every individual scan. It can be useful during repetitive inventory and stock-processing activities.

Applications of PREMAX BR-72 Barcode Scanner

The BR-72 is suitable for businesses that need faster product identification and accurate barcode data entry.

• Supermarkets and Retail Shops: Scan product barcodes during checkout and sales processing.
• Pharmacies and Chemists: Help identify products and process barcode-based transactions.
• Warehouses: Support stock identification and inventory management.
• Office Environments: Assist with equipment identification and asset tracking.
• Libraries and Bookshops: Scan compatible product and book barcodes.
• POS Counters: Improve transaction workflows and reduce manual product entry.
• Distribution Centres: Support product identification during receiving and stock handling.

Why Choose PREMAX BR-72?

Manual product entry can take time and increase the risk of typing errors. A barcode scanner simplifies this process by allowing staff to capture product information directly into compatible POS and inventory systems.

The PREMAX BR-72 combines fast 1D decoding, three scanning modes and convenient wired connectivity. Its included stand also provides a hands-free scanning option for busy checkout counters.

Because it uses a wired connection, businesses do not have to manage scanner battery charging. This makes it a practical option for fixed workstations that require regular barcode scanning.

Important: The BR-72 is specified as a 1D barcode scanner. Do not purchase it for QR-code or other 2D barcode scanning unless the supplier confirms a separate 2D-capable version.
